Why Me?

Wasn't sure if this should have gone in animals but thought here would be better lol
Why, when our cat brings home some dreaded little friends it is only ever me that gets bitten?
We have had an infestation of fleas (£45 to get the house fumigated) and I am bitten all over the place but no one else has. Not that I want them to go through this irritation but as of last count I have 14 bites and the rest (OH and two children) have none.

The person who lived there couldn't understand it as he never got bitten. The colleague who went with me got a few bites here and there and I was totally covered with gaps only where my clothing was tight against my body, eg trouser waistband, the tops of my socks and so on.
Apparently the little blighters don`t like garlic.
My previous dog was given garlic in liquid form each day on his food. the pores of his skin give out the garlic scent. Never used Frontline on him.
If you can get this into your cat to start with & you don`t mind the smell of garlic then it may help. Vampires beware!
Good luck
