Went to Papworth yesterday, saw the Surgeon that would have done the operation had I have been able to have it. He fully explained the reasons to me as to why I am not suitable for Surgery, too many risks associated with other problems. I have accepted the explanation now, and will be going on to the Riociquat drug ( as previously mentioned) just working with Papworth as to how I will get it (not available from local chemists as not on the N.H.S at the moment) and probably most important to the Pharmacutical Company , my method of payment!! Tunnel not quite so long now maybe some light shortly. If you are really interested in watching operations, the one I have described is on B.B.C 2 on Wed at 9pm. I can watch now, knowing it won't happen to me ! Thank you all for your interest and hoope you are happy with my update.
Thanks for the update nelliebee, very interesting. The drug was only launched in the UK in March of this year. I've had a quick scan of a trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine last year, and it looks promising. Best of luck with it.
