Hi,
I suffer with intermittent geographical tunge syndrome (I know I thought it was odd as well lol). I have been told it is very painful but it hasn't been for me up to date.

However The tip of my tunge is very pain full and has a small area of redness and splitting (if that makes sense ) on it. One side is a bit painful as well as if I have bitten sort of thing by I haven't.

Otherwise there are non of the usual signs of GTS that I usually get.

Does any one know if this would be something that GTS can become or do you recon it is something unrelated?

Thank you

Are you talking about your tongue Cassa?
f you have been diagnosed what treatments and self care have you tried?

If they haven't helped this latest soreness - go back.
Quote (from the British Dental Health Foundation):
"The red areas, because they are thin, can sometimes become infected with thrush (candida) and so feel sore. Thrush is very common in mouths"

So perhaps that's the cause of your problem?

It is almost certain associated with your Geographical tongue which often migrates to other parts of the tongue (often called glossitis migrans)and often gives discomfort.

Monitor the tongue tip lesion for the next 2 weeks.

and dont bite anyone Cassa !

Yeh well most people managed to decipher my bad spelling LOL
For sure, spelling doesn't seem to be your best point.
@Samuraisan.......bit unkind ^ ^
Honestly Samuraisen if you can't decipher what 'tunge' is from that spelling then you are not as educated as you like people to think.
Retro, I have never professed to be " educated" .
