the same problem? ,,,,went to the doctor a while ago had chest xrays .. nothing...then told to take inhalers again for asthma...but now this cough is really doing my head in plus everyone around me.??? At night in bed it keeps me awake or wakes me up and I cough so much it makes he sick.... Any help would be gratefully recieved. Thankyou

Do you get acid reflux? That can cause a tickly cough. Or maybe you have an allergy to your pillows.

Thankyou for your reply.... I cough all dy as well as bedtime so do not think it can be the pillows..and I do have acid reflux but have had treament for it that I use and have taken for a few years now.

OH has been coughing for ages, I'm nagging him to go to the drs..

sorry woofgang I forgot to answer your question. Well I thought they did but after a few more weeks now they arent. Will phone doctor tomorrow and have a word with him...as they do not take any appointments now... they phone you first and decide if they want to see you or not.Brenda
