Shingles Vaccine
10 Answers
I for my Flu jab this morning and ended up having the Shingles Vaccine while I was there.
I've had 2 bouts of Shingles, one in my late 20's that was pretty mild but a horrible attack about 8 years ago. I still have Neurological pain from the last attack.
It appears I am in the right age bracket now to qualify. It really is a miserable complaint and often leaves lasting pain for years.
So along with the Flu jab if your the right age might be an idea to get it too.

oh dear - I'm the dodo( as in extinct stupid bird) and have opted out for all these 'save me from this' type of vaccination. I'm sure they have a time and place for some but I've decided to trust my immune system (and a healthy life style.........we'll maybe not so healthy but it seems to work for me)
Of course its personal choice if you do or don't want to opt into any of the vaccine on offer rsvp.
I've had "real" flu, not a snotty cold and would rather avoid it is possible.
I've also had Shingles, twice...not to be recommend in the elderly as it can, and has left lasting pain.
Mr Cuppa has multiple health problem with COPD, heart problems being the main ones,so its wise for him to give nature a helping hand rather than leave it to chance. He has had the Pneumonia injection a couple of winters ago.
You'll not offend me rsvp.
