well, it's not really a taste, just a hint of an aroma and no, haven't got toothpaste all over the place.

Licking lips and no, there's no taste, it's definitely just the aroma, been on-going for about 5 days now.

Seriously, if you haven't been eating or drinking anything with mint in, keep a check on it. Any other symptoms?

no other symptoms, not being eating or drinking anything mint.
Teeth are fake so no toothpaste used, just denture cleaning tablets.
Have you been to a polo match recently?
Could it be something to do with your nose or sinuses?

I've had a weird smell every time I breathe in recently and I feel it's some kind of infection or gunk hanging around.
Not mint-smelling unfortunately, rather more unpleasant.
Maybe cleaning tablets have had ingredients changed?

Just monitor the situation.
Could be just the lingering "memory" of the taste. I discussed once on here (with sqad) why, after cleaning a horrible smelling magotty dustbin, I could still smell it days after, despite several showers and changes of clothing.
