not sure if this is the right catagory. my 20 month old son can probably drink up to 2 pints of liquid a day( water and watered down fruit juices). i was just wondering if this was excessive or not and if it is what could it be? i'm probably just worrying about nothing but that parents!!

My grandson was the same, its just now that he`s turned three that he doesn`t drink so much. Iv`e seen him put away 3 pints plus drinks through the night. I think its more of a comfort thing.
I think that it is possible to do yourself harm by drinking too much, but I think that your son is okay. It is a good habit for him to start.
as long as your not forcing him he's probably fine, he's probably a bit young for it (not sure of the details) but isn't excessive thirst one of the symptoms of diabetes?
