i have a painful heel on my right foot, the pain is more to the inner side of the heel and is worse when i get up in the morning then it eases a bit, then gets progressivly worse as i get more active throughout the day! I was told last year i had flat feet, as i went with a different type of pain then! So i was just wondering if this was to do with my flat feet or something totally seperate! any suggestions????
There have been answers about this recently. Check this web site. http://heelspurs.com/index.html
I knew someone who also suffered from this painful condition. They helped to cure it by buying these special insoles that supported the inner arch. This was the point of collapse. But as this article shows it is the tendon that runs under the foot which either through old age or physical stress caused the problem.
Kwicky's got it right. It could be plantar fasciitis. My sister has it, and your symptoms sound spot-on. Try to get some treatment - she put it off for too long and got a pinched nerve in the bargain.
