tendonitis

i was told that i have tendonitis in my shoulder 3 years ago, but the pain is getting worse and worse,any ideas of a good painkiller. thanks

Is tendinitis an inflammation of the tendon? If so any Ibuprofen based product will help.
However it is my understanding that tendinitis is a symptom not a root cause of pain. I would get referred to a physiotherapist by the doctor (push for this!). If you don't have any joy try a chiropractor.
