Fluid in middle ear?

Has anybody suffered from this and how long did it take to clear? My partner has had this for nine days, he.s completley deaf in one ear and its affecting his balance badley. He has been to th doctors twice!

you arent seeing my man are you because thats him spot on, 9 days, deaf in one ear, docs twice!!! Its actually annoying me more than it is him because I have to keep repeating myself.

This is horrible to have. I have an inner ear infection last year and it completely threw my balance off. Felt like I was drunk all the time. My head was spinning, felt sick and coudnt walk straight.

I would recommend going to the Dr's again and insisting to have it syringe out or something. If it's bothering him that much!
