my grandson came out in spots yestereday 22.9.07 he was with us on the 19/9/07 for the evening. We are flying out to America on the 8/10/07 to see our new grandson who was been premature on the 5.8.07 wil we be safe to go. I had chicken pox as a child and my husband was a young man of 21 when he had it.

Hi. I'm pretty sure the incubation period is 2 weeks, so by my calculations, if you haven't shown any symptoms by the time of your flight, you should be ok. But I would double check with your GP as i'm unsure if it's different for newborns, and it's better to be safe... Good luck!
