hi,everyone,i am due to go for a hysteroscopy on the 12th. nov. anyone else had one?

Your cervix is slightly stretched and a camera inserted into your womb. Teeny tiny camera. You will have no ill effects afterwards unless a general anaesthetic is used, in which case you may feel groggy for a few days. They will do this is they need to do a biopsy.
It really is nothing to worry about.

Yes babyjane , it's a camera passed up through the cervix into the uterus , just a thin camera , not the whole BBC crew ! . It feels odd but doesn't go beyond discomfort and shouldn't actually hurt. Concentrate on the mutiple screens around the room and watch the fascinating interior of your womb. Try to relax , you will be fine :-) xx
