I have plantar fasciitis ( intense pain under my heels) but I am determined to get fit in the new year and walk the dog a lot more ! Which trainers or walking shoes have the best cushion and support?
I also have arthritis in my ankles.
I am stumped at the vast choice !
Thanks in advance !

Hi Jillius - I hopr you don't get this answer twice as something went wrong wiyth my post just now. I have this same problem and find it very limiting as I love walking. I would suggest you go into a specialist sports shop where they have experts on training shoes. There are lots of things to take into account and you need expert help, not just off the shelf shoes.

Thanks bensmum, I'll do that. I got some special insoles but the pain is still really bad in my right heel.
I would strongly suggest you see a podiatrist. They are experts on feet.
They are arranging for custom-made inserts for me which I should have in about two weeks.
