We should all find some time in our lives though to fit in a bit of exercise though even if brisk walk at lunchtime or something. I work two jobs and manage it! Good luck
Again, no lectures! For quick weight loss before a big event the three day diet shifts a few pounds (although some will be water, so will go back on, but for holidays it's a quick fix).
http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/the-3-day-d iet
It's a complete and utter fad diet and shouldn't be followed for more than three days, but it does have good effects usually.
Low carbing for a week also helps shift the pounds rapidly but can leave you feeling a bit crap, so be careful! The Atkins diet and South Beach diet are classic examples.
Finally, the best route I've found is to go vegetarian for a week and fill up on home made soups, bean chillis etc. For some reason beans (not in tomato sauce!) always seem to have a positive effect on my weight.
And drink a few cups of green tea a day. It has a slight diuretic effect and boosts your metabolism a bit to help shift the pounds (and chocolate just doesn't taste same when washed down with green tea rather than coffee!)

Hi, if you've got a month before your holiday, how about joining your local Slimming World, and ask the Consultant to put you on the Fast Forward plan for the 2 weeks before you go - so you do the normal slimming world plan for 2 weeks, and then Fast Forward for the other 2.
When you come back from your holiday, up to you whether you carry on going or not - but don't tell the consultant that!. The Fast Forward plan they do is very restrictive, and you will be very hungry - I did it once though and lost 7 pounds in one week! I only did it for one week as it is really difficult to stick to - the following week I went straight back onto the normal Slimming World plan, and really enjoyedbeing able to eat as uch as I wanted again (and I didn't put any of the 7 pounds back on!).
Best of luck to you! and enjoy your holiday!

Thank you for all your answers, they are very helpful.
i have tried adios and i don't think they worked at all.
i am currently restricting myself to 1200 calories a day. which is ok. i just work out my calories for each meal before hand. hopefully it works. i am still eating proper food, just with a lower calorie intake.
