I am experiencing waves of anxiety that suddenly make life seem unbearable. I was just looking at questions on answerbank when I was struck down yet again. I have been quite ill for the past six months and wondered if anyone has any handy hints for keeping these anxious, panic stricken moments at bay, or at least to minimising their effect on me. Many thanks.

Hi suffragette
There are many suffers on AB so i do hope they help you with there tips..
You must make sure your breathing correctly deep breaths in through the nose out the mouth concentrate on doing this..
Also YOU must change your thoughts or do something to take your mind of the panic..
Most panics last for a couple of minutes only i know they feel for ever but they don't last long.
Also understand panics why they happen and adrenalin this can help you understand it a little more..

There are 4 parts to the above this can help you understand them.
I promise as long as you don't feed them they will go as every one you go through and cope they will get less and less then go....
