Then you need to get a special varnish ( from the doctors) and you need to file the nails down. Across the top, wipe with alcohol and then apply the varnish. You need to do this daily and use clean files and application tools each time. I had it in my left foot when I was a teenager and it took a year to correct.
I throw out all my shoes as soon as I had normal nails again. I would recommend open toed shoes as much as possible with the summer coming up.

have you tried filing them down over the top, loula! Can you afford to see a chiropadist? If just for one visit, to show you how to trim and file them properly.
Toe nail fungus does take a long time, the point of the varnish is to stop any air getting to the nails so you can miss any of it. It does take a very long time, im afraid. You have to pester your gp for it too, did he stop it, at the time I had it, I Was informed it was a very expensive treatment and he didnt want to waste it if I Wasnt going to do it properly.
