I too was diagnosed with high cholestral about seven years ago, y life style was to blame. Stopped eating the chicken skin, belly pork, kicked the utter into touch and started spraying virgin olive oil onto my bread instead. I also take to tablespoons full of OATbran on my porridge oats every mornin. Results of last blood test two wks ago cholestral 4.5 and as a matter of interest sugar 5.6.
Oh! and I still a good variety of cheeses each week and have a fry up every Sunday morning.
