Migraine treatment
4 Answers
I have suffered from recurrent migraines for the last year and around 6 months ago I was prescribed Propanolol. I was on a low dose but my GP has put me on to Amitriptyline today.
Has anybody had this medication for the same reason, if so please can you tell me how you got with it?
Thanks!

The thing with this medication is that if you are still having migraines after taking it for about 6 weeks, go and see your doctor and get the dosage increased. I started off with one which worked for a while, then upped it to two and now I am on three per day and it is working well. I have tried nearly all mirgaine treatments as I have been suffering from them for 15 years and this really works.
