Why am i always tired?
3 Answers
I currently work shifts, 7am - 3pm, 2pm - midnight and 9pm - 7am. i have 2-3 days off per week and I normally get 7-8 hours sleep. i eat a varied diet with fruit and veg. I am slightly over weight but excersise regularly and drink plenty of fluids. I always feel tired and if i sit to watch TV i generally doze off. I don't really feel like i have any energy and can take hours to get going. I'm in a good relationship with no kids and little money worries so why do i always feel so tired? thanks

Definately get you blood checked, could be something, could be nothing, could be shift work.
Medically it could be thyroid related or as someone has already mentioned Iron deficiency. I have just been through lots of different tests for extreme tiredness, I found out yesterday I am deficient in B12!! Look that up, look at the symptoms of B12 deficiency and see if the symptoms relate to you. Also look up 'underactive' thyroid & also anaemia.
