Hi onlyme26 :o)

Hmmm I also got one after my second daughter was born and went to the Doctors who prescribed me a cream and it went after only a few days.

Have you been to the Doctors? rather than just getting over the counter remedies? Maybe best for the Doc to have a look if you have a few small ones now, as I reckon it could get worse with this pregnancy if you still have them from your first.

Not nice things but at least yours don't itch or hurt but still worth getting sorted incase they start to.

it went away??? well i never did no, after i had my daughter the mid wife came round to check down there stiches etc and she asked how they were and if they bothered me, i just said no and she said well if they do get this cream, i cant remember now what it was called, i just assumed they would go away?
so u think if i go the doctor he will give me cream to get rid of them lol???
Most definately! But as you have had them some time it may take a wee bit longer or you may need to see a specialist.
Preparation H is probably what the midwife told you, which if you pop to the chemist you can buy it over the counter, but I would go to see your Doctor first as you have had them some time now and may need something prescribed.

aww cheers, i am so stupid for not going earlier, i just assumed it would go and to be honest it has never bothered me, so i guess i kinda forgot about it lol

thank you xx
No don't be daft I'm sure we can all be a bit guilty of not going to see the Doctor straight away in the hope that whatever the complaint is that it will go on it's own.

looked into this myself having one...there are a number of options.

Piles are disgnosed in different stages due to size and how far they 'hang' out :s

If they are in the body then small creams usually do the job.

If they are larger or hang outside thebody there are two methods. You can have a 'rubber band' as such attached which cuts off the cirulation and will cause it drop off.

In more severe cases they will inject it and it will fall off.

Although if like me you are too scared at the thought of having this done and they do not cause much discomfort the best thing to do (if they are very small) is to make sure you never strain when going to the loo, dont sit on the loo for very long, eat plenty of fibre and drink plenty of water and you will find they are far better.

Hope this has helped, see your doctor as you are not stuck with them!
