fingers going numb

hi all my fingers have started to go numb recently ive noticed it more ...left hand its my thumb and the finger tip of the finger next door to it and on my right its the side of the little finger and the one next to my thumb......ive worked with vibrating tools for the last 8 years could that be the cause

Could be - but I have Reynaud's and have never worked with vibrating tools.

Do your fingers go white? Have you seen your GP?
As the above answer, Reynauds would be suspect. You should visit your GP though as there are various ailments that can cause numbness of the fingers, some of which could be more serious.

Maybe a trapped nerve, i have a slipped disc and awaiting MRI and the suspect i have a trapped nerve caused my the disc as i get numb fingers and pain in my left arm, they has done reflex tests on my legs and feet and had problems getting a reflex from my left foot prob due to the nerve being trapped. x
