Ideal weight

Have just weighed my son, he is 4 months 4 weeks old and weighs 16lb 3oz and is 66cm long, is this a good weight/over weight/ideal?

Where is he on the centiles?

my daughter is 98th centile (71 cms) and 25th centile (15lbs 2ozs) at 7 months.

but shes perfectly healthy, just long and slim.

He is between 75th and 91st centiles.
He was born 7lb 2oz but 6 weeks early!
I was due to have a scan the day after i went into labour as they thought he was getting to big! Was measuring 37 weeks at 33!

if hes within 75 and 91st centiles then Im sure thats fine. 50 is average but of course to get an average there will always be babies above and below that line.
