Marina Coil and Im still bleeding

I had a coil fitted 9 days ago and was told to expect bleeding for 5-7 days afterwards but I'm still bleeding with no signs of it stopping. It's like a light period and has been for about a week now.

I take it your question is why are you still bleeding?

I had a mirena coil fitted and was told to expect bleeding a little bit etc.. I bled for the whole 3 months.. sorry to be a put down on it but i had it removed in the end as the bleeding carried on throughout. This proves to me that this is not the right method for you... tc xx
