When you have a blood test to check your cholesterol you are told not to have anything to eat.However,if you are on medication should you take it or wait until after the blood test ?

It depends on if you have to have the medication with food. If you don't need to take it with food then it should be ok. But if you need food with it then you should ask your GP for advice. Either way it's safer to ask your GP first.
Blood tests which are fasting are usually taken first thing in the morning, so no big deal either way.....take your medication when you get back home.
