I don't know if I swim right

I was doing the breast sroke last night and the part of my body I feel gets the most work out is my shoulders and back.

I'm not good at sit ups anymore but want to start doing them. I have had a couple of nights on the trampoline for 30 mins and that is quite tiring! If you skip whilst on the trampoline though, it makes the time go faster and feels easier, oh and I mix it up by doing star jumps, and doing seat drops and bringing knees up to chest, doing spotty dog, touching toes behind my back. Yeah I must look funny to the neighbours!

Hack squats
Squats, on a leg press machine. Start with your feet out in front, instaed of underneath your hips.
Single leg press
As above, but using one leg emphasises the outside of your butt muscle.
Toes pointed in stiff leg deadlift
Stand up straight, hold a barbell hanging against your thighs, point your toes in, then bend and lower the bar to the floor, and pull up. Try it without a bar ... you can feel your butt working.
Reverse hyperextensions
Lie on a bench on your frony, legs sticking out off the end. Lower your feet to the floor, and use your bum to pull them back up. Keep your legs straight.
Butt blaster
A machine. Either your gym has one, or it doesn't.
Stair climber
You know this one.
Pli� squats
Like the ballet move. Stand, feet together, toes out at 90 degrees. Hold a dumbell in each hand. Bend the knees ... and straighten.
Dumbell bench step ups
Dumbell in each hand. Bench in front of you. Keep upright, and step up on the the bench. Alternate left, then right, legs.
Cable kickbacks
Get one of those velcro ankle straps with a loop. Connect the loop to the low cable on a cable machine. Stand facing the machine. Push your ankle backwards.
Sit down/stand up with barbell on shoulders
Hold a barbell across your shoulders. Have a bench behind you. Sit back down on to the bench. The stand up, keeping the barbell across your shoulders.
Believe me ... by the end of the session, you'll feel like your butt is on fire ... but it will give you a FANTASTIC arse.
