Health help required for 10k run

Hi there, can anyone help me stop getting a cold? I know it sounds stupid but I'm not feeling 100% today, bit of a sore throat and slight headache, normally I wouldn't worry but I have a 10k run to do this sunday and theres 100s of pounds for charity riding on this! I am drinking plenty of water as I usually do anyway, taken vitamin b and c and some zinc, again part of my normal routine anyway. Has anyone else got any suggestions as to what I could do to optimize my health in 2 days?!?!

take echinacea tablets, they help to reduce the severity of colds but may have a minimal effect if you already have one.
I agree with the echinacea, at the worst if you do get a cold, it will shorten the length of it.

Garlic capsules and a plain old multivitamin may help as well, and paracetamol is best if it turns into a full blown cold
