ouch- I have been bitten
6 Answers
Hi
I was in the garden last night ( 7ish) and was bitten by a midge or something. Nothing unusual there, but normally I just develop an itchy blister and slight redness around the bite which disappears the next day.
However, this morning my foot has swollen quite badly and around 4 inches around the bite is hot red and very hard.
I have put some antihistamene cream on the area and nothing is working.
Any ideas why I have reacted this way and do you think it is infected??
Thanks in advance

Advice- see your doc, you are having an allergic reaction - don';t worry too much it will go down, but it may itch for days and try to keep your hands off it!!
