How does Primulot N Work
2 Answers
Can anyone help. I wanted to delay my period because of a holiday soon, so my GP prescibed Primulot N. But I cannot start taking these table 3 days prior to my period starting as I should of done because my period started five days earlier than normal. Therefore I started the medication as soon as I started my period hoping my period would then stop but I am still bleeding three days later but not as heavy as I would normally bleed. Will this stop in a few days and then I can stop the tablets when I want to bleed again.
Any advice would be great.

What does Primulot do?.........it is Ethisterone and stops you ovulating.
What would I do in your situation?.......stop taking the tablets and start again days before your next period and assume that your next period will be 5days early.
Have a word with redcrx as well as she may have other ideas.
Good luck.

Ive taken this lots of times and always take it earlier than 3 days before i come on, just in case i'm early, like you are. Sorry not much help to you now. It cant hurt to keep taking it, it might stop it, but even if it doesnt at least you wont be as heavy. I'm guessing it wont stop you bleeding altogether, fingers crossed though.
