My friend has been suffering with a busritis of the hip for a year.It took six months to diagnose and since then she has been given a course of cortisone injections which have had hardly and effect.Anybody out there who might have experienced the same problem and might have some advice to help her.She is really at her wits end and does not have a lot of faith in the treatment she's been given. Thanks in advance.

Presumably she is under the care of an Orthopaedic surgeon.

She will have a follow up visit during which she will relate that there has been no improvement following her Cortisone therapy.

The next stage will be Arthroscopy.....explorative surgery.
