Neuralgia
2 Answers
Think this is another one for Sqad.....I had to go to the local walkin centre yesterday as I could no longer bear the pain...the doc diagnosed neuralgia....now should I go to my own doctors to find out why i have this? Or just accept it and hope I never get it again????

Purple.......neuralgia just means nerve pain and basically the cause depends upon where the nerve is that is being inflammed..e.g leg (Sciatic neuralgia) arm (brachial neuralgia) but id commonly also used for rheumatic or muscle strains. You do not say where you "neuralgia" is causing the problem. I am sure that the Walkin Centre have given you tablets for the pain and I would suggest, that you take these tablets and monitor the situation which may settle without seeing you GP.
