Will Retin A solve my skin problem.

I have heard that it useful in many of the skin problems like wrinkles, open pores.
But before actually using it I would like to know peoples experience.

And where should I purchase it from.

I don´t use it.........but for what it is worth........retinol is the only substance that was found to be effective against skin ageing in scientific trials.

It won`t do anything for open pores. It probably won`t do anything for wrinkles either. It is prescribed in a much stronger solution for some skin complaints but it remains to be seen if it does anything for cosmetic reasons. The cosmetic companies claim it helps the skin to renew faster. I think that famour skin serum from Boots that came out (perform and perfect) had retin A in it and it was shown to reduce sun damage slightly (under a microscope). Whether it was the retin A or someing else is anyone`s guess.

Roc do a very high percentage retinol day cream... seemed to work well on badly sun damaged skin with a few lines although most modern skin care has at least some retinol in the ingredients not sure about open pores... exfoliation and a good toner are better for that problem

And I didn`t think you were supposed to use it on the eye area either. If the blackheads are gone that means the cream was used on the nose. Who ever uses face cream on their nose?

Me, I do, I just put it all over my face, nose and all!! And I haven't got open pores or blackheads!
