Injured Knee
2 Answers
I injured my left knee quite badly about 9 months ago and the x-ray was normal. I had a large haemotoma surrounding the knee and the doctor said it would eventually disappear. My knee has never been right. I have alot of aches and pains in my leg and recently noticed when i bought some new shoes that the left foot in the shoe was quite tight compared to the right foot. I can also feel a small "squishy" lump under my skin on the knee and my leg feels quite "heavy". Please can anyone help before i make an appointment at the doctors?. Thank you

It doesn´t seem to be a big deal from what you say.
The "squishy lump" that you describe is almost certainly the old haematoma that you had 9 months ago has undergone fatty degeneration which is not uncommon.
Year GP will examine your left leg and ankle to determine the cause of the swelling.
