I know Sqad. There was no answers for Kat when I weighed in. If I had known you were around I would have left the advice to you. I was standing in a car parts shop waiting to get served and looked down to see this wasp on my foot. It felt terrible and kept me awake at night. My man is a member of the St John Ambulance. Whenever they get a patient with a wasp sting they spread bicarbonate of soda mixed to a paste with water over it. It takes down the swelling and eases the pain. I've never actually tried it myself as I havn't been stung for years - but it works on mosquito bites.
