Swelling and Pain after having 2 teeth extracted
1 Answers
I had 2 teeth extracted late yesterday afternoon, at a Dental Hospital. While the trainees were lovely she put the local anesthetic in the wrong place, so while she was putting the blocker forgive me if I get the names wrong, but the 1st injection they put it was in the wrong place. So all the other injections were pointless. Eventually her boss took over and got the anesthetic in the right place. And finally I was numbed up.
My tooth was very brittle and the dentist really took his time getting my tooth out. At one point it felt like he was jacking up his car to change a tyre. Not a pleasant experience. And now all my cheek is swollen which I expected and my jaw is achy. But underneath my tongue is very sore, it makes simple things like rinsing my mouth out with salt water about the only thing I can bare. Tried soup, scrambled eggs, soft pasta all of which are unbelievably painful. I have no idea what to do about this, after the farce of the dental hospital don't want to go back unless it's an absolute emergency. Thanks
