Anyone watching Britain's Fattest Man (ITV now)?

The man is 68 stone - just started, filmed over a year. I'm making no judgements, just watching.

No I can't watch things like that - it makes me feel ill. I can't imagine how people allow themselves to become that big - and who would continue to feed them rubbish once they can't feed themselves.

Despite being gravely ill due to her weight, her husband continued to smuggle in KFC bargain buckets..........her heart gave out shortly after.

I'm watching with some ghastly fascination, naomi - in the same way as I watched that programme a while ago about the man in the States who was a "feeder" and overfed his wife until she got so massive that she couldn't get out of bed.

He's just described his breakfast - that would give me enough big breakfasts for a week....

It never ceases to amaze me how the body is able to adapt to such weight gain. There must have been a time when he thought it was getting out of control.

Channel 4...he is very brave to be filmed for this, a wake up call for those who are overweight....not just vastly....i do feel for people who do eat for other reasons than the obvious...depression, anxiety, loneliness....not just due to 'hunger'...no quality of life....

I watched a program about a overweight man. It seemed the food bill each day was about £40. Where does the money come from?

I hope I don't appear distasteful with this point but I always wonder when I see people like that. How do they attend to personal cleanliness such as washing thermselves - especially all the important places?

He can't andyvon, that young woman does it all for him.
He's just said he remortgaged the house for £10K to pay for food.
It seems an emotional upheaval and the death of his father started it off.
