Morning salla...is this question asked because of your daughter?
Question Author
Yes sqad. This is what I am pretty convinced she has, not as though I am an expert. Her immune system is so weak at the moment. She has daily urticaria; even reacts to lukewarm baths. The 2xdaily antihistamines and a course of Prednisolone plus steroid creams have hardly made any difference since she saw Prof CS. She is due to see him again in 10 days' time. She continues to lose weight because she has to avoid so many foods.

If it weren't so obvious on her face - rash, itchy eczema, swollen & red eyes, morning conjunctivitis, I think she could cope better. She says she is not depressed, but she is tearful. I am at my wits end as to what next to do for her.
salla....I am sorry.....but that Prof of Immunology gave you so much hope and I cannot add anything useful.

I still have (long-term) faith in him. It does not make for pretty reading on t'internet though. I try to stick to the reputable medical ones, but it can be disheartening reading some of others' experiences with these type of problems.
