Mrs jth was off work at the end of last week with the lurgy.
I could see that she had 'infected tonsils' and managed to get her an appointment at GP.
She came away with a 3-day course of Anti-B's.
She's spent the time since then coughing, sniffing and dribbling and, to be honest, doesn't seem to have improved at all.
She's taken herself off to work this morning (short of pinning her vest to the mattress I couldn't think of a way to stop her) but still feels (and looks, sorry love) pretty grim.
Should I make an additional appointment for her this afternoon and see if we can get some betterer Anti-B's..............or is it more reasonable to wait a while longer ?
bednobs - She's at work whereas I am at home. I can ring the surgery this morning to make an appointment for when she is home from work, mid-afternoon.
She has large white spots on her tonsils.
sqad - She was seen by the Nurse-practitioner who diagnosed a 'virus' and prescribed Anti-Bs.
She is distinctly 'fluey...........sneezing, coughing, aching, swollen around the throat/jaw-line, having trouble swallowing.
