Sore Throat

Have had sore throat for 4 days now, I am banging in strepsils like they are going out of fashion, but no difference. No other symptoms, but its a real annoyance now. Any suggestions or home remedies that you know works?
Not going to trouble GP over a sore throat.

Stop the Strepsils........Ibuprofen 400mgms twice daily for a week.

ward rounds. The trouble is that people keep popping up in different section of this virtual hospital. I think AB Ed should have a Sqad thread in Body & Soul which would be more efficient and patients wouldnt be kept waiting.

I do similar for a cold Pinki, with a large brandy in too!

Its just annoying more than anything, feel fit otherwise.
I am going to pop out to the shop for pineapple juice and ibruprofen shortly.
I am on call with work later so the brandy will have to stay in the cupboard!

probably the condition known as deep throat more like.....combo of sqad and pinkis should sort it out.....sqad's to cure, pinki's to make you feel better

Gargling with soluble aspirin can help. (It's a local anaesthetic.)
