BP of 110 over 70 today, is this ' normal'

don't mean to dwell on my BP readings folks but it is important to me as I have always been lucky enough to enjoy good health and I haven't seen Sqad around today and I wont do a fao for him

wolf.....you make an excellent point............normal BPs may vary in values from one person to the next.

You'd need a BP monitor if I was around Bobbi........it would go right off the scale.

sqad sorry to bother you, just thought I would give an update, I have took my BP over the last 10 days and get very good readings, the lower one never going above 65?
you told me to let you know.
so I do feel pretty darn good about it

Mine was all right today too, bobbi, told the nurse I've come off the statins, got to be healthy....nmmm....nmmm....grrrr.

I have one of those at home because I sometimes have probs with b/p but you don't need to take readings every day, once a week will do.
Mines about 140 over 75 and that's with 10mg Lisinopril.

That is OK once you have your BP stabilised.

When I first was diagnosed with high BP and got one of those machines from Lloyds, I took my bp 3x a day for weeks, then I showed the medico, he laughed and said well done, but not so often!

Ive been told you need to have your b/p monitor recalibrated every now and again, but how and where can you get it done. I also bought mine from Lloyds.
