Sorry. Totally forgot about the dual meaning of "fag", which doesn't exist in English. There was a case a few years ago of an English film director visiting the US who on interview confessed to getting through upwards of forty fags a day, to the shock of the majority of his audience and the quiet admiration of the minority.
I know what it means. My mom calls them that sometimes just to bug me I think.
It has a few meanings in English, ranging from cigarette to junior errand boy to a senior pupil in public school. It has never had the meaning of homosexual. Fagot or faggot was an old term for a bundle of sticks or firewood, but also used as a term of abuse to a cantankerous old woman.

Fag over here is a cigarette and to a lesser extent homosexual. It will usually mean cigarette to anyone interested as we are not worried about

I was actually talking about two different uses of smoke and one type of fag.

I think we should all agree that there is nothing wrong with any two people in love with each other.
I'm hip. I spent a year in Key West as a minority. All my friends kept asking me to go hetrobashing. Unfortunately I think it was like inviting a turkey for Thanksgiving.
actually flobadob - I know several people who are serious about their Christian faith, who are respecting Lent. They give a shiite, most certainly - if others of us aren't/haven't kept Lent, that's no need to be rude about those who do.
