i would say severe, worse if i dont move much or go out in the day. our sofa or chairs for posture are rubbish so i end up sitting on the bed of an evening quite often. the doc has prescribed me co codamol 30/500 and given me an exercise sheet but doesnt seem to do much good. is there any hope or will i now have this pain forever, doc said probably general wear and tear, it is really getting me down.
i didnt sleep at all last night, tossing and turning even after a sleeping tablet, this is really gettting me down, will the pain ever go away or will i now have it for life?
I have it along with all my arthritic problems and I wouldn't jog. In fact I couldn't jog. Mine is worse in the morning when I first get up actually. I don't know why.
I would recommend however that you seek out a really good osteopath, (depending on the cause). They are pretty good at getting posture sorted out which helps alleviate a lot of back pain.
I can't take cocodomol that don't help my pain and they make me hallucinate!!
Seriously though an osteopath or physio can help a lot more than a GP who will just dish up pills and tell you it's wear and tear. It probably is wear and tear, but it can be helped if you get your posture right.
