Medicine on the market for depresssion

Can depression be cured? Are there any medicines that I can buy to cure myself of depression? I have a lousy feeling every day. it doesn't make me sad. I just feel lousy. Is it depression? Can exercise help to get rid of this sort of feeling?

I dont think there is a drug that cures depression, probably just treats some of the symptoms and make you feel better, I don't think there is a cure as such.

prozac helped me after a house fire and major bereavement .. just takes the edge off panic and dread..

I think it depends on what sort of depression it is, whether it's reactive, which is the way you react to circumstances in life, or a chemical imbalance in the brain? Best bet is to go to the Doctors and have a chat with them x
