Baby born safely

Hi all, A while ago I posted a message about a friend having an under weight unborn baby.
Well the baby was born by caesarian on 4 th august at 3.30pm, 6lb 14ozs. She's georgeous - so tiny.

i didn't see your original post. That is a good weight isn't it? Was she early?

for full term, thats not a bad weight at all (my friends baby is 3 months old (not prem) and still only just weighs that much. Hope mum and baby are doing well.

It was 9th june that I origanally posted about this. A scan then showed the unborn baby being only 3 lb in weight - the reason for the worry. Over the last 2 months of pregnancy she doubled that to the birth weight of 6 lb 14 - which is in fact not a bad weight at all. She arrived 2 weeks early.
Mum and baby are fine and well thanks.
