I recently had a bad car accident and have some nasty scars on my fingers and, in particular, across my knuckles.

Does anyone know of any creams which can help reduce or soften scarring because at the moment I can't bend my fingers due to the scars.

Also, anything which can reduce the likelihood of keloid scarring, which I am prone to.

Hi Cathy, haven't used it .. but have a read of this! http://www.teenfi.com...+argan+oil-12568.html It's available from most of the large chemists .. Superdrug/ Boots ect.. Also available on ebay for a very good price! I believe there are some more pure than others.
I can highly recommend Cica-Gel sheets for scars.

You can cut them to fit the scar and wash and reuse loads of times so it's pretty cost effective. I had substantial keyloid scarring which is almost invisible after using this product.
^ Sounds good meglet!!
Many years ago I worked as a nurse on a large children's burns and plastic surgery unit. When a child was ready to go home following skin grafting the parents were given a large pot of nivea cream to be used twice a day to help reduce scarring. This was back in the sixties so there are probably more modern creams about now. But it might be worth a try. Good luck!
I dont know if you can still buy it, but Vitamin E capsules (just get the oil out of the capsule and rub it on). Not sure if they still sell it though, you could try a Health Shop. Also taking the capsules once a day is good for healing wounds.

(Disclaimer... I did work for Spenco a long time ago and I only suggest it due to hearing many reports from people that bought it about how effective it was, I have nothing to do with Spenco anymore)
