Cut my hand earlier and now it is throbbing - what's best to take, Paracetaol or Ibuprofen? Thanks.

Could take either......my choice?..... Ibuprofen.....why?.....because it has greater anti-inflammatory properties that Paracetamol and it is the inflammation that is giving you the pain.

400mgms at least.

this is just me, but i would take 2 paracetamol now and ibuprofen later if it still hurts
