My friend has talked me into going with her to see a spiritualist and I have no idea what to expect.  Can anyone tell me what it might be like or give me any advice?

Thanks

Spiritualists quite often are mediums who believe they can speak to spirits of people who have passed on and will pass messages to you from people you know who have passed on.
i think all you can expect is to be approx 30 quid short when you leave
Watch Shirley Ghostman on BBC3 to see what to expect
Save the busfare and just flush your money down the loo, at least you wont be making this shyster any richer at your expence!

The spiritualist will put you in touch will your recently departed and long lost and forgotten tell you where buried treasure is and cross your palm with silver!

If Carlsberg done spiritualist they would properly be like this!

Goodness me !!! I thought I'd better give you a bit of "for" opinion versus all these "against" opinions.

I have seen many mediums and my sister is also one. There are a lot of "scammers" out there which most definitely will just take your money and tell you very general things. But there are also extremely genuine people who can tell you things that only you know about. They get information which is passed on to them for you. It doesn't always make sense straight away, but then it certainly will a couple of days later.

A rule of thumb when going to see a medium, which genuine mediums agree with too, is not to supply them with information. Just answer yes or no to their questions and be open minded. If you don't supply any information then the reading is more genuine and you'll both feel like it's unique information you receive.

Some people do it for a living and others don't charge as they do it as a charity and are just happy they can help others.

Go, have fun and enjoy it

My dad got involved with spiritualism when my mum died. He is not a shyster. I don't believe in it but he does and it keeps him going.

my god what a lot of non believers we have here.

i totally believe in spiritulism my mum goes to meetings quite alot and she has had alot of messages from relatives who have died and some of these messages there have been things that no one could possibley have known .i guess everyone has their own opinions on this one.
