No personal experience of this, but very well done to you!  You are an example to us all!

Sorry, no personal experience either but a collegue at work started dating a 22yr old when he was 45 ~ 8 years on they are both still together and appear to be very happy.

i had a happy relationship with a woman 28 years older than me. it lasted for six years, and was in many ways more wonderful than the relationships i've had with women of my own age. naturally one lays onesself open to oedipus/cliche comments from the narrow minded, which is probably the reason age-gap relationships often collapse. do you think you're well enough matched to deal with the clench, and do you have many mutual friends?
Mind over matter, if you both don't mind then it don't matter......I still have a long way to go to keep up with Rod Stewart and Penny....
hi there extern good for you to carry this on be proud !! age is irrelevent if you ask me you are both adults and know what you are getting into.im 24 and my boyfriend is 40 we have been together five years now and have a 2 year old child and we are extremely happy.so all the best for the future and dont let anyone put you off.
Not quite such a gap, but my husband is 16 years older than me, and we celebrated our first wedding anniversary last month.  If you are suited in other ways, then I think that age is fairly irrelevant, so go for it!
Not quite the same age gap, but my fella is 14 years older than me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. We have been together for 5 years, are expecting our first child and couldn't be happier. We've had our ups and downs, but what relationship doesn't?! Just remember she will go through so many changes (you're not the same as you were when you were 21!) and you'll be ok. Good luck!
