The world has gone crazy, it's really time that we all accepted that no-one's perfect, everyone's different and it's what's on the inside that matters. When you can love yourself no matter what you look like, that's when everyone else will love you and you'll be truly happy.
delilahcat - I agree with you to a degree.
I watch the Discovery Channel late at night & am amazed at the lengths some people will go to to look 'perfect'.
However, I can fully understand people wanting nose jobs (for personal/medical reasons), tummy tucks (after childbirth/massive weight loss), breast reductions (for medical/confidence reasons) & some breast enlargements (for after childbirth/confidence boosting).
The trouble is some people don't know where to stop & end up with the 'perfect' face, but with a scraggy old neck & hands! I think I'd prefer to let the whole of my body grow old at the same rate.
Having said that, everyone to their own & if it makes you feel good do it!
I used to think I would never have plastic surgery but the older I get, the more I find myself thinking about it. In reality I will NEVER have the 2000 + needed, and if I did I certainly wouldn;t spend it on hoisting up part of my anatomy that nobody is ever going to get to see anyway!! I'm not THAT bothered...!
I have had lots of operations for medical reasons and I would never, ever consider cosmetic surgery unless I was suffering from severe deformities. Operations carry great risks. I completely agree with delilah cat.
What a sad, sad world we live in now that we are so obsessed with having perfect faces and bodies.
