Paracetamol/aspirin has been known to work but a guaranteed fix is bathing the affected area in whisky.
The biggest problem is not swallowing. :)

Jan..no it dosent cheer me up but reminds me that people can be worse off than my feeling a bit down dosent scratch your surface. Christmas can really be a sad time- a few family face missing for me

Ps- arm not as sore. Not taking as much pain relief (scared of it!) but dull aches in arm and leg! Niggling pain... Still cant straighten my arm but back to work tuesday! :0/ x
