What is your checklist - things you look for in a partner before you would consider them seriously? I am interested in what the differences are between men's and women's. For example, I asked my Dad this and he said that he thinks the thing that is most important to a woman is having a "reliable husband". Hahah!

I'm not suggesting we have an actual checklist! Just a subconscious one in which we would only seriously consider someone who was x or was not x.
you would have to state your IQ on your list DT and possibly the first date you would have to take the lucky lady/gent to have an IQ test.
Absolutely Sade....I would never date someone who was workshy, even if everything else about them was perfect.
You know what we need to do - a corporate AB ideal person list. It would go on for pages, and must include cake for B00.
someone who doesn't want to wear my clothes.

or at least, doesn't look better in them.

cazz - the kettle calling itself back as you mentioned "intelligence" I believe.

I also thought Prudie was the frist to use the term here, didn't have a pop at her, did you.

Bloody Cheek!
Can I still borrow that little red strapless dress next Friday, Sara(h)?

no, I said intelligence which can be interpreted in an informal manner.

you stated that they must have a similar IQ to you. IQ is specific and requires a test.
Chuck, no.. red is so not your colour!

the purple one??
Sade on the professional upmarket dating or "Introduction" sites i believe that there are quite an extensive and intrusive checklist which even includes what salary they're on and what salary bracket the person they're looking for has to fall into!
I did DT but one can gauge it from a couple of hours conversation rather than doing the test.
Don't give chuck those pants with hands on, sara - the reindeer outfit was bad enough :-)
boxy, Chuck is more complex than that.. he's not after my drawers ;o)
My, we are being literal, aren't we - No it doesn't have to be precise and on the button - just of a decent level......and No, the first date is not to Mensa. Mind you if a table is available - though I prefer something softer and that really shouldnt be on the first date!
What about those pants Sara ... Can I borrow them?
-- answer removed --
AlBags... NO!!
this is why checklists are a bad idea... so many variables ;)
